Pastor Ken concludes the series on Joseph with a message of hope and comfort. Following Jacob’s death, Joseph’s brothers fear revenge for their betrayal so many years earlier. Instead of believing Joseph’s words and actions of forgiveness, they become fearful for their lives. In the same way, we often feel the same way in our relationship with God. We believe in eternal life and salvation, yet we sometimes allow fear and our own sinfulness to cloud the reality of God’s love, goodness, and promises.
